Growing up, I was always drawn to athletics. Through high school, I dabbled in various sports, and weight training was a natural part of my routine. I loved the challenge and the sense of accomplishment that came with pushing myself, but I didn’t truly fall in love with fitness until a deployment to Iraq. That’s when everything changed.
During my deployment, fitness became more than just a hobby—it became my passion. With limited options to pass the time, I found myself in the gym for hours, day after day. It wasn’t just about lifting weights; it was about understanding the science behind it. I became addicted to learning everything I could about fitness. I spent my free time studying, reading articles, books, and anything that could help me improve. The gym wasn’t just a place to relieve stress anymore; it became a place where I honed my discipline and focus.
After my deployment, that passion didn’t wane. Instead, it grew. I continued to spend hours in the gym, applying what I had learned and pushing myself to new limits. Fitness became a way of life, something I couldn’t imagine being without. But it wasn’t just about my own growth—I wanted to share that knowledge with others.
The turning point for me was becoming a Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor. That’s when I fell in love with teaching. I realized that while improving myself was important, what truly inspired me was helping others grow. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone push through their own limits, achieve goals they didn’t think were possible, and become a stronger version of themselves. Being a part of that journey is what drove me to keep learning and improving as both a coach and an individual.
After serving in both the Marine Corps and the Army, transitioning into personal training felt like the natural next step. Semper Fitness was born from that same desire to help others improve themselves. The discipline, resilience, and commitment I learned in the military directly translate to the training and coaching I provide today.
I created Semper Fitness to give people the tools, knowledge, and support they need to not only reach their fitness goals but to surpass them. Whether it’s through in-person training, virtual programs, or one-on-one coaching, I love being able to guide people toward a healthier, stronger future. Watching clients grow, push past obstacles, and become the best versions of themselves is what drives me every single day.
Semper Fitness isn’t just about working out—it’s about embracing a lifestyle of constant growth, discipline, and self-improvement. And I’m proud to be a part of every single client’s journey to achieving their full potential.
